    The following contact information will remain active during a Shutdown Furlough:

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Mental Health Counseling Support:
    NASA’s EAP provides confidential, short-term, mental health counseling assistance and referrals to employees who are dealing with issues such as: depression; anxiety; family conflicts; marital /relationship concerns; eldercare/caregiving stress; substance and alcohol addiction; major life adjustments; domestic violence concerns; and occupational stress. During the partial shutdown/furlough, some NASA Center EAP providers may still be operating onsite or by telephone. If not, NASA has arranged for WorkPlace Options to be available 24/7 (1-888-728-1404) for urgent matters and is staffed by licensed and certified mental health counselors.
