The Engineer/Scientist as Manager Program presents the fundamental tools for effectively supervising the activities of others. The emphasis is on sharpening and enlarging administrative skills and on gaining a better understanding of organizational behavior. Management basics are given and then each of the concepts are applied to the unique environment of engineering and scientific management. The program provides extensive opportunities to exchange ideas and assess problems and offers the participants the means for stimulating fresh thinking, enlarging their point of view and expanding their capacity to perform.
