Based on information you provide, the Staffing Group will prepare your official Permanent Change of Station or Temporary Change of Station (PCS/TSC) travel orders. Completed travel orders are forwarded to the travel office for funding. Once funded, these orders authorize your overseas move and all applicable travel allowances. The DoS requires official travel orders prior to processing your visa(s) or passport(s). Your HRR will send copies of your official travel orders to NASA HQ/Code I, and they will give it to the DoS, along with your passport and visa application(s), and SF50.
Our staffing group will provide you with information and options concerning travel dates, storage and/or shipment of household goods and automobiles, temporary quarters, etc. All of these items must be documented on the overseas travel orders. LINK PCS/TCS
If you are traveling TDY, your travel orders will be prepared by your own organization.
