As a corporate function within NASA Headquarters, the Workforce Management and Development Division staff:  

• establishes and disseminates Agencywide human resource policy and standards,
• provides interpretation of Governmentwide laws and regulations,
• represents NASA's human resource interests to other Government/non-Government organizations,
• provides senior management with periodic performance assessments of NASA's human resource programs, and
• provides advice to senior management and Center Human Resource Offices on all personnel functions.
