As a corporate function within NASA Headquarters, the Personnel Division staff:  

• establishes and disseminates Agencywide personnel policy and standards,
• provides interpretation of Governmentwide laws and regulations,
• represents NASA's personnel interests to other Government/non-Government organizations,
• provides senior management with periodic performance assessments of NASA's personnel
  programs, and
• provides advice to senior management and Center Personnel Office's on all personnel functions.
