Access to your data is restricted by entry of your Social Security Number and NEBS PIN code. Access to NOPS is further limited to those who have access to the NASA intranet. Transmission of your organizational profile statement via the NASA intranet is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) data encryption. This is the same level of encryption provided for all on-line credit card transactions. No private data is stored on your PC. NOPS will time out after 20 minutes of inactivity in case you left your desk and forgot to logoff.
