NASA College Scholarship Fund

Investing in the Future

Students and parents continuously struggle to fund the rapidly rising costs of higher education. By contributing to the NASA College Scholarship Fund, donors can help alleviate these costs for our scholarship recipients. Tax-deductible contributions are accepted directly or through the Combined Federal Campaign.

Contributions by NASA Employees

Many NASA employees have made tax-deductible contributions to the fund, directly and through the Combined Federal Campaign, to ensure future scholarships will be available. Direct contributions can be made at any time by filling out the Investing in the Future form and mailing it to the enclosed address.

Other major contributors include the Freedom Forum and Chapters of the NASA Alumni League.

CFC Good News

NCSF will be included in the 2007-2008 Combined Federal Campaigns (CFC’s) as a National Unaffiliated Agency (identification number 10139). Approximately $16,438.83 was received from CFC programs across the Agency in 2006. These contributions help to make it possible to award merit scholarships in the future.

Educational/Scientific/Charitable Purposes

The scholarship funds must be used exclusively for educational purposes; i.e., the actual and direct expenses of attending an accredited college or university in the United States. Compliance will protect the nonprofit and tax exempt status of the corporation and ensure the availability of future scholarships.
